The only flavor of pop tart I'll eat is brown sugar and I'm not a fan of the pastry, too chalky. So, I thought I'd attempt to make homemade pop tarts. These homemade pop tarts are much better than the store bought kind! The recipe is from sally'sbakingaddition.com. Because the recipe has a lot of steps, I'm posting the link instead of typing the entire recipe on my blog. It's rather complex, so make sure you have time to bake! The only change I made was to omit the cinnamon. Next time around, I'm using raspberry or strawberry filling with Nutella frosting!
